Make a donation now to the Chapter House Fund through the Alpha of Sigma Pi Educational Corporation. The Alpha of Sigma Pi Educational Corporation is a 501(c)(3) Internal Revenue Service-approved organization with the mission to fund educational programs for the members of the Alpha Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity, International.
Scholarships and grants may also be made to deserving students based on need and/or competitive performance in defined activities. The Foundation may also provide funding for the acquisition, construction, and installation of equipment and facilities for the fraternity for educational purposes; other acceptable educational purposes per IRS EO guidance:
Provide grants to build or improve dedicated library, study, computer, or instructional areas within a fraternity chapter house. Included within this permitted category are grants to cover annual operating expenses (insurance, utilities, and similar items) allocated to dedicated library, study, computer, or instructional areas. Other examples of annual operating expenses include fire alarms, smoke detectors, and internal sprinkler systems for dedicated areas.
Provide grants for internet wiring in the chapter house that is similar to what is provided by the specific college or university where the chapter house is located is considered to further educational purposes.
The Educational Corporation aims to attract gifts from alumni who are searching for a way to support the Fraternity on a tax-deductible basis, or who would like to make a bequest that will benefit the fraternity in perpetuity.
